Hazardous Materials

Tier 2 Submission
Facilities covered by Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) requirements must submit an Emergency and Hazardous Chemical Inventory Form to the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), the State Emergency Response Commission (SERC), and the local fire department annually. Visit the Tier 2 Submission section to find out what chemicals must be reported and how to submit the information.

Voluntary Submission
In order to plan for the best response to your emergency as possible, voluntary submissions are encouraged and are incredibly helpful in responder planning. If it’s flammable, explosive or poisonous in a quantity larger than what you could buy at the grocery or hardware store, it may be very helpful to your local emergency responders to be able to plan the best, safest response to your property. Visit the Voluntary Submission section to learn more about the types of chemicals to report and how to submit the information.
